Battalion 1944: Highly Anticipated FPS Title Available On PC

Battalion 1944 is a multiplayer FPS video game that is published by Square Enix Co., Ltd, the highly received gaming company. The game is set to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Battalion 1944 was just released on the PC gaming platform “Steam” on February 1 12 p.m. ET.

Battalion 1944 is one of the first critically released World War 2 online FPS games with a competitive play style. The FPS has a classic feel focusing on 5v5 infantry combat. The game requires skill, including reaction time, strategizing and fluid movements. According to developers, the intention of the game was not to pack it with airstrikes, attack dogs or overpowered weapons. The intention of Battalion 1944 was simply to release a polished simplified competitive World War 2 online FPS which requires practise and skill. The title has many play styles including Wartide, Capture the Flag, Domination, Team Deathmatch and much more. On top the that, Battalion 1944 includes rank based matchmaking, war chests, and weapon skins.

Despite what it seems, the release is still an early access launch. Either way, many fans are excited to jump right into the gameplay. Developers did warn consumers that the title may still have issues, but will be fixed before official release. The title is going to be available for a base price of around 15 euros on Steam when it is officially released. Luckily, you can receive a 10% discount if you order Battalion 1944 on supported platforms including Humble Bundle. For an extra ten euros, you can get the “First to Fight” editions. This pack includes the base game, 5 war chest, an exclusive skin and the official soundtrack.
